The hotel is in the best possible and peaceful location, right by the center, shops, cafes, bars, and coffeehouses. The double room was warm with a private bathroom.- The staff were professional and created a quiet atmosphere.- Actually, everything was good - my next choice again in Amsterdam.

It was in a very good location ,a few minutes walk from the whole sightseeings.Breakfast good enough,no complain about it.Staff kind enough, especially the Greek boy very kind!!
Very old decoration of the room ,needs some kind of renovation.Maybe it was clean enough to stay in but due to the old walls ,curtains, bath etc,you can't easily understand that it is clean. There were towels but those were full of hair from the previous guests ,so you couldn't use them all. There was no shampoo as it is normal in other hotels. No lift, elevator for so many floors to go on foot and with luggage. Not cheap for its facilities,we have stayed in better ones and cheaper, especially in Germany.

Location was ideal - very quiet canal, within easy walking distance of many attractions. Great cafes around the corner, many restaurants nearby..
Room was tiny! Very little storage space - some extra shelves, hangars etc would be nice..

I stayed at the hotel for a weekend getaway and found the location to be perfect. It was within walking distance to all the attractions I wanted to visit, but still quiet at night. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with any questions I had. The rooms were small but adequate, and the sleeping area was comfortable. I loved waking up to the sound of birds singing in the morning. a budget-friendly hotel with a great location and welcoming staff.
I highly recommend this hotel.

We were so disgusted with this hotel. It was filthy. Cigarette holes in bedspread. Carpet so stained that we would only walk on it with shoes on for fear of catching something.Bathroom a real health hazzard. Toilet sistern broken & you could see filthy water. Black insect parts falling from ceiling onto bed. Staff indifferent to our request for a change of room or even replenishing toilet paper & towels. Breakfast was included in tarriff but inedible. We should be entitled to a refund. Rooms grossly over priced.
